DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

WE BELIEVE the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:19 21)

WE BELIEVE in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(John 16:12-15; Matthew 28:19)

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.
(Romans 1:3-4; Matthew 1:18 23; Luke 1:26-35; Philippians 2:6-8)

WE BELIEVE that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and that those who reach moral responsibility become sinners in thought, word and deed.
(Romans 1:18-32; Romans 3:9-23)

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
(Hebrews 9:22; I Peter 1:18-20; Hebrews 10:10; I Peter 3:18)

WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate.
(I Corinthians 15:1-20; Hebrews 7:21-25)

WE BELIEVE
that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, and
thereby become children of God.
(John 1:12 13; John 3:3-18)

WE BELIEVE
in “that blessed hope”, the personal pre-millenial, and imminent return of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ.
(I Corinthians 15:51-57; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Acts 1:11)

WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the eternal blessedness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
(Revelation 20:4-6; John 5:28-29)

WE BELIEVE that baptism is the immersion of a believer, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, in testimony of his faith in the crucified, buried and risen Christ, and in confession that the believer is to be dead to sin and risen to newness of life in Christ Jesus; and that the Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of the Lord’s death “till He comes.”
(Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 8:38; Romans 6:1-5; I Corinthians 11:23-31; Luke 22:19-20)
